The survey is conducted using several online access panels, providing a representative sample of America’s tech workforce. Respondent employees self-identify as tech workers and is asked to evaluate both their own employer and other employers which are well- known to them. All organizations considered employ a significant number of tech workers. More than 25,000 American tech-workers of organizations employing at least 1,000 people in the U.S. were considered. The 200 organizations receiving the highest total scores are awarded in this inaugural list of “America’s Best Employers for Tech Workers.”
