Project Details

About the project

The ranking for America’s Best Cancer Hospitals aims to provide patients and family members with a comprehensive resource for informed decicion making for the best sites for cancer hospitals in the US. The 175 leading hospitals in the field of oncology in the US are awarded and notable treatments (e.g. prostate cancer, lung cancer etc.) are highlighted.

The list is based on a nationwide online survey, where healthcare professionals with knowledge in the field of oncology were asked to recommend leading cancer hospitals in the US. In addition, results from patient experience surveys and hospital quality metrics with a focus on indicators relevant to oncology care were analyzed.
