About the project

In it’s second year, The Wall Street Journal, Statista, and College Pulse have come together to award the Best Colleges im the U.S. 2025. Using an innovative methodolology, 500 colleges were awarded across the U.S.

The ranking’s unique methodology is based on a survey, conducted by the independent panel provider College Pulse. Over over 60,000 students and alumni were asked each year on their student experience. Moreover, based on secondary data from the U.S. department of education metrics on student outcomes were applied to rank the best colleges.
