Project Details

About the project

The ranking for America’s Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers aims to provide patients with a comprehensive ressource for informed decision making regarding the best physical rehabilitation centers in the US. The list comprises the top 280 physical rehabilitation centers from all US states. The 25 states with the highest number of facilities according to the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) were surveyed individually. The remaining states were grouped into 4 regions: Northeast, Midwest, West and South. The lists are based on three data sources: A national online survey among peers, quality metrics published by CMS and accreditation data on addiction treatment centers provided by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center (MSKTC).
