About the project

For the second time, TIME and Statista are awarding “America’s Top GreenTech Companies”. The ranking is built on three pillars: positive environmental impact, innovative ability, and financial strength. Statista gathered and scrutinized data for over 4,300 companies through desk research, online application forms and collaborations with data and market intelligent companies.

Each company was evaluated and received scores in each of the three dimensions, which were then aggregated into an overall score. In total, the 250 companies with the highest overall score were awarded.
