About the project
Canada’s Most Responsible Companies 2025
For the first time, Newsweek and Statista have honored Canada’s Most Responsible Companies.
The ranking focuses on a holistic view of corporate responsibility that considers all three pillars of ESG: Environment, Social and Corporate Governance. The analysis is based on two metrics:
– Quantitative data from Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): More than 30 KPIs from the three areas of ESG were considered for the ranking. These KPIs were derived from the companies’ publicly available Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or ESG reports and other reliable data sources.
– Survey data: CSR reputation of each company from an extensive survey among 4,000 Canadian residents.
In total, 150 companies have been identified as one of “Canada’s Most Responsible Companies”.
