Project Details

About the project

The ranking “World’s Best Insurance Companies” is based on an online survey among 45,000 insurance customers of 15 different countries. Each survey respondent named their insurers and was able to share their experiences with their insurer in three categories: Homeowners, Car and Life.

Statista evaluated participant ratings in five areas: Advice, Customer Service, Price-Performance, Transparency, and Damage/Benefit Service, along with loyalty, satisfaction, and likelihood to recommend. Insurance companies had to achieve both a minimum number of ratings and a minimum score based on aggregated participant evaluations to qualify for an award.
